The Argos Park Board provides oversight for the Argos Department of Parks & Recreation. The Argos Park Board meets every third Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Building.
We are very proud of our parks. Memorial Park on South Michigan Street is a nice place to have a picnic while the kids play. Community Park has a 1.3-mile paved walking trail for you to enjoy along with a fishing pond, splash pad, and lots of playground equipment for the kids. Foker Park has a large pond for fishing and has just gone through an upgrade with a new paved walking trail, parking lot, restrooms, playground equipment and more.
The Town of Argos has an extensive park system with Foker Park, Community Park, Memorial Park, and Downtown Square (coming soon).
