NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Town of Argos, Marshall County, Indiana that the Argos Town Council will meet at 201 W. Walnut St., Argos, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m. local time on the 6th day of December 2023, for the purpose of considering the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.  Appropriation Increase to the Fire Protection Territory Equipment Fund - 4410-01-5540 - $58,000    

Total $58,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance(Department).  The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen(15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy if the action taken.
