Community Park

Argos Community Park is located on the west side of Argos and features a wide variety of recreational facilities:

• Playground
• Splash pad
• Baseball diamonds
• Soccer fields
• Basketball court
• Disc Golf 9 holes
• Sand Volleyball
• Sledding hill
• Picnic areas
• Pavilions
• Fishing pond
• Nature trails

Community Park is just over 50 acres in size and is the focal point of public recreation in the Town of Argos. Community Park has several natural features and landscapes. On the northwest corner of the park there is a wetlands area connected by a trail to the rest of the park.

Community Park Rules

• No weapons.
• No tobacco and/or alcohol of any kind.
• No ice fishing or skating.
• No swimming, wading, or boating at any time.
• No motorized vehicles outside of the parking lot/roadway.
• Pets must be leashed at all times.
• No open fires.

The Argos Department of Parks & Recreation reserves the right to prohibit any activities on park property. Remember you are sharing this park with others.

Community Park Rentals

There are several rental options in Community Park (all prices include sales tax):

• Hayn Pavilion - $53.50
• West Pavilion - $107.00
• North or South Pavilion - $53.50
• Kitchen (must rent North Pavilion) - $26.75
• Basketball Court Pavilion - $37.45
• 1-Message on Sign per day (subject to approval) - $26.75
