**Accepting Applications for Seasonal Laborers**
Town of Argos is currently accepting applications for seasonal laborers. Must be at least 18 years of age and currently hold a valid driver's license. This position will work seasonal hours from April to October. Job duties include mowing in the park, weed eating, chipping limbs, cutting brush, general maintenance items. **** Utility Payments********
Effective immediately with Ordinance 2024-13 all utility payments must be received by 11:59pm on the 15th and the 28th of the month. Any payments received after this time are considered late. The Clerks office employees don't have the authority to make exceptions to this policy. Any request for a Utility Board Hearing will need to be done by the 21st of the month it is requested. Requests after this date will be denied. All load limiter request must be made by the 28th of the month. If a payment is not made on the 28th of the month the utilities will be disconnected on the next business day. There will also be up to an $80 fee once placed on the disconnection list. There will be no reconnections on any holiday. After hours service is for emergencies only.
